Full-Time We're working with a well-established Chicago General Contractor that's looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their interiors team. The company originally built its name in tenant interiors and has since grown into a $650M+ contractor with both interiors and ground-up work across healthcare, corporate office, multifamily, and other commercial sectors. This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial interiors/TI experience who wants to join a highly respected Chicago GC with great benefits, a collaborative culture, and plenty of room to grow. What You'll Be Doing Manage commercial interior projects from preconstruction through closeout Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Coordinate closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, owners, and internal teams Manage subcontractor procurement and buyout Lead owner and project meetings Monitor project costs, schedules, and overall performance Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and trade partners Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget What We're Looking For Experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager with a GC Strong commercial interiors and/or tenant improvement experience Experience managing projects from start to finish Knowledge of construction budgeting, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractor management Strong communication and client-facing skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred Why This Opportunity? $650M+ in annual revenue Strong reputation in Chicago with experience building out some of the city's most recognizable office spaces Diverse portfolio including corporate interiors, healthcare, multifamily, and ground-up construction Opportunity to eventually move into different project types if you don't want to stay strictly within interiors Collaborative, open-office environment Unlimited PTO Employee medical, dental, and vision insurance fully covered 75% coverage for dependents Company-paid short- and long-term leave 401(k) Full tuition reimbursement for career-related classes Multiple workplace and industry recognitions Strong opportunity for long-term career growth If you're a Project Manager with commercial interiors/TI experience and are interested in joining one of Chicago's more established contractors, I'd love to connect.
