Position Overview The Studio Project Manager is the single point of accountability for how we deliver projects and the main line of communication between our clients and our firm , owning schedules, budgets, hour estimates, and the studio's week-to-week capacity so work moves smoothly from kickoff through close-out. The ideal candidate is a skilled project manager with an architectural background in single-family residential projects, and can communicate clearly and calmly to set expectations and keep clients confident , even in conversations about money and scope. Job Details Serve as the main point of contact for clients across the full project lifecycle Onboard new clients and keep communication, expectations, and satisfaction on track Get ahead of client issues and resolve them before they escalate Help draft proposals and scopes of work by building the hour estimates that become the project contract Create, coordinate, and maintain project schedules across all active work Rework timelines across projects when deadlines shift Assemble and assign the architecture and interior design team for each project Manage design time, studio capacity, and staff utilization Build and maintain weekly team calendars for availability and assignments Help lead and prep the Monday studio meeting to keep everyone aligned Initiate and take part in in-person client meetings, including setting agendas and opening with project updates Contribute to studio decisions on skills, training, staffing recommendations, and 1099 coordination Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements 7 to 10 years of relevant experience Project management background Direct experience in single-family residential architecture Strong working knowledge of how architectural and design projects get built (licensed architect preferred, not required) Clear, calm, de-escalating communication A proactive style that anticipates roadblocks and gets ahead of problems Confidence to lead and shepherd a team without being their direct manager Comfort making independent calls and adapting when direction changes A collaborative, easygoing fit for a laid-back, non-competitive culture Job Structure Full-time In-office role 40-hour work week Flexible scheduling within the firm's operating hours Must attend the weekly all-staff meeting at 8:30 am on Mondays Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Paid holidays
