3003317879-2 Apply for this job now Job Description As a Principal Project Manager at Exelon, you will lead complex grid modernization and clean energy initiatives from strategy through execution. You'll oversee large, cross-functional programs that enhance reliability, integrate advanced technologies, and improve customer experience. In this role, you'll drive scope, schedule, and budget, manage risks, and ensure regulatory and safety compliance. You'll collaborate with engineering, operations, IT, and external partners, mentor project teams, and champion continuous improvement aligned with Exelon's values of safety, integrity, inclusion, and innovation. Responsibilities Lead large, cross-functional grid modernization and clean energy projects from initiation through closeout Own project scope, schedule, budget, and quality for complex utility programs Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance Coordinate across engineering, operations, IT, and external partners to achieve milestones Engage stakeholders and communicate status, impacts, and decisions to senior leadership Develop business cases, project plans, and performance reports using data-driven insights Manage vendors and contractors to deliver on time and within budget Mentor and guide project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability Implement best practices in project governance, documentation, and continuous improvement Align project outcomes with Exelon's strategy for reliability, clean energy, and customer experience Required Skills Project planning Budget management Risk management Stakeholder management Utility/energy domain knowledge Regulatory compliance Data analysis and reporting Vendor management MS Project or similar tools Leadership and communication
