Assistant Project Manager Tri-City Group South Bend, IN Job Details Full-time 6 hours ago Qualifications Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Tri-City Group is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager for an opening in South Bend, In. The Assistant Project Manager plays a key role in keeping projects organized, maintaining accurate information, and supporting execution from pre-construction through closeout. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support project teams with documentation, submittals, and scope tracking Assist with gathering quotes, takeoffs, and responding to RFIs/RFQs Review quotes for scope gaps, pricing changes, and completeness Maintain current drawings, specifications, and project documentation across platforms Assist with shop drawings and submittal coordination Track subcontractors, equipment, and quoted items Support weekly reporting (labor, schedule progress, milestones, delivery updates) Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors Assist with project closeout including warranties, O&M manuals, and as-builts Help coordinate vendor start-up, site access, and owner training
Qualifications:
1-2 years of construction or project coordination experience (preferred) Familiarity with construction documents, submittals, and project workflows Experience with tools such as Procore & Bluebeam (preferred) Strong organizational and document management skills Candidates must possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This includes effective communication, a proactive approach to follow-up, and the ability to collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to keep projects moving forward.
