Mandeville, Louisiana Employment Type:
Full-time position, Monday through Friday.

Competitive pay based on experience About Us Smoketree Landscape & Wetstone Custom Pools are landscape and swimming pool construction companies specializing in high-quality outdoor living projects. We design and build complete backyard transformations, including landscaping,drainage, irrigation, outdoor lighting, swimming pools & hardscapes. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to help oversee construction projects from start to finish, assist in keeping crews and subcontractors organized, assist in maintaining schedules, communicate with clients, and ensure our projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Position Overview The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple landscape and pool construction projects at various stages of production. This role requires strong organization, construction knowledge, leadership, communication skills, and the ability to solve problems in the field. The ideal candidate has experience in landscape construction, landscape architecture, swimming pool construction, residential construction, or a related trade, and is comfortable working with crews, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and office staff. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during active construction projects Communicate regularly with clients regarding schedules, progress, next steps, changes, and expectations Provide clear, professional, and timely updates throughout each phase of the project Help customers understand the construction process and what to expect along the way Coordinate project details between the customer, office, design/sales team, field team, subcontractors, and vendors Manage day-to-day progress of landscape and swimming pool construction projects Coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and schedules Review project plans, scopes of work, budgets, and job details before and during construction Visit job sites to monitor quality, safety, progress, and material needs Identify and resolve field issues before they become major delays Ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, company standards, and client expectations Track labor, materials, change orders, and project costs Coordinate with designers, sales team, operations, and ownership Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Help ensure crews have the tools, materials, and information needed to complete work efficiently Document job progress with notes, photos, and updates Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and final client walkthroughs Qualifications Previous project management, landscape architecture, or construction leadership experience preferred Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills Experience in landscape construction, pool construction, hardscape, irrigation, drainage, concrete, masonry, or residential construction is a strong plus Ability to read and understand plans, layouts, measurements, and scopes of work Strong communication and customer service skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once Problem-solving mindset and ability to make decisions in the field Basic computer, smartphone, and project management software skills Ideal Candidate The right person for this role is dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and proactive.
