PROJECT MANAGER
—COMMERCIAL PAINTING
Location:
Southeastern Massachusetts Established Commercial Painting Contractor .Position:
Full-Time Project Manager We are looking for an experienced, motivated Project Manager to join our growing commercial painting company. The ideal candidate has strong commercial construction experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects from contract award through completion. This is a hands-on position for someone who understands the commercial construction industry and can communicate effectively with customers, general contractors, subcontractors, field crews, and company management. Responsibilities- Manage commercial painting projects from start to finish
- Review contracts, plans, specifications, and scopes of work
- Prepare project schedules and coordinate manpower and materials
- Coordinate with general contractors, owners, architects, and other trades
- Conduct project meetings and maintain regular communication with clients
- Perform jobsite visits and monitor project progress
- Ensure work is being completed according to specifications and company standards
- Track labor, materials, equipment, and project costs
- Review change orders and assist with pricing and negotiations
- Prepare and submit RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation
- Monitor project profitability and identify potential cost overruns
- Coordinate with foremen and field crews to maintain productivity and schedule
- Assist with estimating and project handoffs when needed
- Resolve jobsite issues quickly and professionally
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and general contractors Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial construction or commercial painting project management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial painting and coatings is a major plus
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and jobsite coordination
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with construction management/project management Procore software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation What We Offer
