Senior Accountant Salary:
$80,000-$105,000, depending on experience

Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close Reconcile mortgage-related transactions, loan activity, commissions, fees, and other accounts Assist with monthly financial statements and management reporting Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management as needed Assist with audit requests, schedules, and supporting documentation Partner with leadership on process improvements as the organization continues to grow
Senior Accountant Qualifications:
3+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred Experience within mortgage lending, mortgage brokerage, banking, or a closely related industry strongly preferred Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Strong Excel skills Ability to work accurately in a deadline-driven environment Strong communication and organizational skills #
