$70,000-$85,000 per year Position Overview CommTank is seeking an organized, motivated Project Manager to support the planning and execution of fuel system, environmental, and commercial construction projects throughout New England. Working alongside experienced project managers, field supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, and customers, the Project Manager will help coordinate projects from initial planning through completion. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who communicates clearly, manages competing priorities, and is comfortable working in both office and active jobsite environments. Primary Responsibilities Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial fuel system and environmental projects. Support project managers with scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, permitting, documentation, and resource coordination. Review project plans, specifications, proposals, contracts, and scopes of work. Coordinate with customers, field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and regulatory agencies. Track project progress, costs, deadlines, change orders, and outstanding action items. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including submittals, purchase orders, daily reports, photographs, permits, and closeout materials. Visit job sites to monitor progress, confirm project requirements, and assist with resolving field issues. Identify potential scheduling, cost, safety, or operational concerns and communicate them to project leadership. Support project billing by organizing completed work documentation and verifying project milestones. Participate in project kickoff meetings, progress meetings, and post-project reviews. Help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, compliance requirements, and company standards. Maintain professional communication with customers throughout each phase of the project. Assist with multiple projects simultaneously while adjusting to changing schedules and priorities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or associate degree in construction management, engineering, environmental science, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. One to three years of experience in project management. Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to read and understand project documentation, plans, specifications, and scopes of work. Valid driver's license. Willingness to travel to project sites throughout New England as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting commercial construction, petroleum equipment, fuel storage, environmental remediation, or facility maintenance projects. Familiarity with project scheduling, estimating, purchasing, permitting, or cost tracking. Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, field technicians, or regulatory agencies. Experience with project management, estimating, construction management, or customer relationship software. Skills and Attributes Highly organized and attentive to detail.
