Business casual with appropriate jobsite footwear and PPE Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Bathroom Remodeling Project Manager to oversee residential bathroom renovation projects from production handoff through final completion. This is a field based, customer facing role for someone who understands bathroom construction, can manage employees and subcontractors, keeps projects on schedule, and communicates proactively with homeowners. Experience with bathroom remodeling, shower conversions, one day bath systems, solid surface or composite shower systems, and similar residential renovation work is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Manage multiple bathroom remodeling projects from production handoff through final walkthrough and closeout Develop and maintain project schedules, trade sequencing, material requirements, milestones, and anticipated completion dates Coordinate plumbers, electricians, tile installers, carpenters, painters, glass installers, flooring contractors, and other trades Source, qualify, negotiate with, and maintain relationships with reliable subcontractors Maintain backup trade resources so projects are not dependent on a single subcontractor Manage internal staff and subcontractors and ensure everyone understands the approved scope before work begins Confirm trade schedules, material readiness, access requirements, and dependencies before crews arrive onsite Visit jobsites regularly to monitor progress, workmanship, cleanliness, and schedule Identify problems early and coordinate solutions before they delay the project Manage permits, inspections, punch lists, and final project closeout when applicable Ensure occupied customer homes are properly protected and jobsites remain clean and professional Customer Communication Daily communication with customers is expected while projects are active.
Customers should clearly understand:
What was completed What is happening next Which trades are scheduled Whether any decisions or selections are needed Whether anything has changed with the schedule The Project Manager is expected to communicate proactively rather than waiting for customers to request updates. CRM and Documentation Every active project must be updated in the company CRM each working day.
Updates should include:
Work completed Jobsite photos Employees and subcontractors onsite Outstanding materials or trade needs Customer communications Schedule changes or delays Issues requiring attention Planned work for the following day Company leadership should be able to review the CRM at any time and understand the current status of every active project. Bathroom Remodeling Knowledge Candidates should have working knowledge of: Tub to shower and shower to shower conversions One day bath installations Solid surface, composite, and acrylic shower systems Shower pans and waterproofing Tile and bathroom flooring Plumbing fixtures and shower valves Niches, benches, grab bars, and accessories Vanities and toilets Exhaust fans, lighting, and bathroom electrical Frameless and sliding shower glass Finish carpentry, painting, and project closeout The Project Manager does not need to personally perform every trade but must understand the work well enough to sequence it properly, identify quality issues, and manage the appropriate subcontractor. Qualifications Residential remodeling experience required Bathroom remodeling experience strongly preferred Project management or construction management experience preferred One day bath or shower conversion experience strongly preferred Experience managing subcontractors and field staff Ability to source and qualify new subcontractors Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trade dependencies Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously Strong customer communication and problem solving skills Comfortable using CRM and project management software Ability to read scopes of work, floor plans, measurements, and product specifications Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required Professional Appearance This is a customer facing role. Business casual attire and a clean, professional appearance are required when meeting homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Appropriate closed toe footwear and PPE must be worn when jobsite conditions require it. Compensation $70,000 to $85,000 annually , based on experience. Approved business related travel will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy. What Success Looks Like For every active project, the Project Manager should always know: What was completed today? What is happening next? What could prevent the project from staying on schedule? Customers should stay informed, subcontractors should know exactly what is expected, materials should be ready before they are needed, and the CRM should accurately reflect the status of every project.
