What You'll Do As an Assistant Project Manager , you'll partner with Project Managers and learn how to successfully manage architectural millwork construction projects, being involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning to execution and closeout.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities Work with Project Managers to ensure successful delivery of projects. Coordinate and monitor project progress to ensure customer expectations are met and projects are delivered on-time and on-budget. Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, vendors, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders. Work with Field Engineers to obtain accurate field measurements. Perform jobsite visits and attend GC progress meetings as required. Determine and manage needed resources (manpower, equipment, materials, etc.) from start to finish, with attention to budgets. Plan all construction operations and schedule each phase of the process to ensure project deadlines will be met. Ensure adherence to all governmental and company health and safety standards on the jobsite and report issues as applicable. Ability to manage multiple jobs in various stages of construction, from inception through installation and final customer sign-off. What We're Looking For To thrive in this role, you'll need: 1+ years of construction project management experience, preferably with a focus on custom millwork, casework, and cabinetry projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, blueprint and project management software, Innergy ERP, and other relevant tools. Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently. Ability to read blueprints, architectural drawings, and specification sheets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Why Join?
