What You'll Do As a Project Manager , you'll oversee commercial construction projects, support project teams, and be involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning to execution and closeout.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Project Planning and Scheduling:

Understanding project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and creating comprehensive timelines and work breakdown structures to meet deadlines.

Budget and Cost Management:

Managing the project budget, tracking expenditures, and implementing cost control measures to avoid overruns.

Resource Allocation:

Procuring and coordinating necessary resources, including personnel (subcontractors, architects, engineers, on-site crews), equipment, and materials, to ensure efficiency.

Site Supervision and Quality Control:

Regularly visiting the construction site to monitor progress, ensure work meets design specifications and quality standards, and address any on-site issues promptly.

Safety and Compliance:

Develop and enforce comprehensive safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure all project compliance requirements (First Source, O/CIP, COI, wage scale) are communicated to internal and external customers.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

Acting as the central point of communication among clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams, providing regular updates, and resolving technical and logistical issues.

Risk Management:

Identifying potential project risks (e.g., safety hazards, material shortages, weather delays) and developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize their impact.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintaining accurate project records, including contracts, drawings, and change orders, preparing detailed progress reports for clients and stakeholders, and close-out documents are prepared and submitted timely.

Contract Negotiation and Management:

Negotiating contracts with vendors and subcontractors and managing contractual obligations and changes (change orders). Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): On-time Completion Percentage Project Contribution Margin Quality of Information released to production Client Satisfaction/Loyalty What We're Looking For To thrive in this role, you'll need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in construction, engineering, architecture, or a related field. Minimum 5 years' experience in the architectural millwork industry. Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently. Understanding of construction methods, architectural drawings, and millwork fabrication processes. Proficiency in project management software, Innergy ERP, and other relevant tools.
