Job Summary
Absolute Supply & Services, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Project Manager / Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects involving internal teams, customers, and third-party contractors. This role serves as a key point of contact between customers, sales, service teams, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between customers, sales teams, service departments, and external contractors.
Coordinate and support project activities from initiation through completion.
Schedule, dispatch, and monitor Service Technicians and third-party contractors to ensure project timelines are met.
Communicate project requirements, schedules, and expectations to contractors and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate shipments, deliveries, and installations of parts, products, and equipment.
Order materials and equipment, working with vendors and contractors to ensure timely availability.
Track project progress, service completion, and contractor deliverables.
Review completed jobs and contractor work for accuracy prior to invoicing and billing.
Assist with managing project budgets by tracking expenses, purchase orders, and contractor costs.
Enter and maintain purchase orders, contracts, contractor agreements, and customer documentation in the company database.
Respond to incoming service and purchasing calls and route messages appropriately.
Support project closeout activities, ensuring documentation, billing, and deliverables are complete.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support business operations.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in project management or business are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in project coordination, field services, operations, or a similar role.
Two (2) years of accounting or financial processing experience (invoicing, job cost review, or expense tracking).
Two (2) years of procurement or purchasing experience.
Experience working with contractors, vendors, or service providers preferred.
