USCIS - Project Management Journeyman

Savvee Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Management Journeyman to support our federal client onsite in Camp Springs, MD. The ideal candidate will drive day-to-day project execution by organizing plans and timelines, aligning stakeholders and delivery teams, and proactively identifying risks and dependencies. • Current or prior USCIS and/or DHS experience is preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Developing and managing project plans and schedules.
  
• Tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  
• Coordinating with stakeholders and delivery teams.
  
• Supporting governance reviews and reporting under program-level direction.
  
• Supporting testing, integration, and deployment.
  
• Performing additional duties as assigned in support of evolving contract requirements and client needs.
  
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
  
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING

• Bachelor's degree
  
• One or more of the following certifications: PMP, CSM/CSPO, or Agile
  

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Skilled professional capable of directing and managing project execution
• Ability to develop project plans, monitor progress, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver successful project outcomes
• Ability to work with Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) information
• Must have the ability to obtain the client's suitability
• Ability to complete the client's background investigation requirements
• A proficiency in utilizing MS Office products
• Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AI-assisted tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A highly motivated self-starter
• Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills

DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Five or more years of project management experience
• Product Owner experience
• Agile methodology experience
• PMBOK experience
• Federal project execution experience
• USCIS and/or DHS experience
• Experience supporting governance, reporting, and risk management activities
• Experience supporting operational readiness and deployment efforts
