Essential Functions:
Take ownership of a project upon award and see through to completion Establish project objectives, milestones, budgets, and project schedules Procure supplies and materials to complete a project buy-out Oversee and provide guidance to Foremen/Superintendents to plan, organize and direct activities related to schedule, labor, equipment, materials and disposal on their jobs Monitor production and project costs to ensure each job is completed on schedule Review and sign off on daily manpower and progress reports for their jobs Continually update a 3-week look ahead for all projects Interact with the customer on a regular basis and be the lead on negotiation for any scope discrepancy or issues on the job site Proactively develop relationships with subcontractors Oversee all change order requests and submit in conjunction w/ estimating and finance Responsible to ensure project close out package is completed, and job can be billed in fullExperience:
Minimum of 5 years working as a Project Manager in the construction and/or environmental remediation fields Experience managing federal government contracts preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record required Must be able to pass a federal government background screenCertifications:
OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training.
