$21.11 per hour Put Your Phlebotomy Experience to Work While Serving Those Who Served White Stone Healthcare Resources, LLC is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team supporting Veterans at the Togus VA Medical Center in Augusta, Maine . This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced phlebotomist who takes pride in providing accurate, efficient, and compassionate patient care. The selected candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy services while supporting laboratory operations across multiple areas of the medical center. What You'll Do As a Phlebotomist supporting the Togus VA Medical Center, you will: Perform inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy services, including Emergency Department (ED), STAT, ASAP, and timed draws Conduct patient phlebotomy during inpatient ward rounds and within outpatient and Emergency Department settings Perform sample processing and prepare specimens for send-out Provide applicable Lab Technician and Lab Assistant services Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Communicate professionally and provide compassionate service while supporting patients and the healthcare team What We're Looking For Qualified candidates must possess: A minimum of three (3) years of recent phlebotomy experience Strong attention to detail The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment Excellent communication and patient-care skills A commitment to providing professional, compassionate service to patients
What You'll Receive Compensation:
$21.11/hr. for Evening Shift; add $1.00/hr. shift diff for Weekends In addition to the base hourly wage, this position includes potential additional cash benefits for those who do not choose medical, dental, or vision insurances and/or 401(k). Health & Welfare benefits are provided in accordance with the applicable contract requirements and White Stone's benefit practices.
