Job Description
Project Management Create clear work plans, timelines, task lists, and project goals. Coordinate staff, volunteers, community partners, vendors, and other participants involved in assigned projects. Monitor project deadlines and deliverables and provide regular progress updates to the Executive Director. Maintain organized records and documentation related to projects. Identify project risks, barriers, or resource needs and bring concerns to the Executive Director promptly. Assist with project budgets and monitor expenditures when assigned. Obtain quotes, coordinate vendors, schedule services, and assist with purchasing related to approved projects. Evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement. Grants, Contracts & Reporting Assist with the implementation and management of grant-funded projects. Maintain documentation necessary to demonstrate completion of grant activities, deliverables, and outcomes. Track project deadlines, required reports, expenditures, participant information, and performance measures as applicable. Work with the Executive Director, finance staff, and program staff to gather information needed for grant and contract reporting. Assist with preparing narratives, reports, project updates, funding requests, and grant applications as assigned. Ensure project activities remain consistent with approved grant or contract requirements. Events & Community Engagement Assist with planning and coordinating Recovery Community Center events, fundraisers, community activities, workshops, recovery celebrations, and outreach events. Coordinate event logistics, including locations, schedules, volunteers, vendors, supplies, community partners, and promotional needs. Assist with recruiting and coordinating volunteers. Help identify sponsorships, donations, community resources, and partnerships that support Recovery Community Center activities. Work collaboratively with staff responsible for marketing and communications to promote programs and events. Support to the Executive Director The Project Manager will serve as a direct project support resource to the Executive Director.
Responsibilities may include:
Researching new programs, services, partnerships, and funding opportunities. Coordinating special organizational projects assigned by the Executive Director. Developing timelines and tracking action items resulting from leadership meetings. Following up with staff, vendors, contractors, and community partners regarding assigned projects. Gathering information and preparing summaries, reports, presentations, or other materials needed by the Executive Director. Assisting with organizational events, program development, expansion projects, and community initiatives. Helping coordinate projects involving other An Angel's Wing programs or locations when requested. Providing administrative and organizational support for time-sensitive initiatives. Completing other duties and special projects as assigned by the Executive Director. Leadership & Team Coordination Provide clear direction to staff, volunteers, interns, AmeriCorps members, contractors, or project participants when assigned responsibility for a project. Delegate project tasks appropriately and monitor completion. Encourage teamwork, respectful communication, accountability, and collaboration. Help resolve routine project-related concerns and bring significant personnel, financial, safety, or organizational concerns to the Executive Director. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality. Compliance & Quality Follow all applicable An Angel's Wing policies and procedures. Ensure assigned projects are carried out in accordance with applicable grant, contractual, organizational, state, federal, and funding requirements. Maintain accurate and timely project records. Protect confidential information and respect the privacy of individuals receiving services. Immediately report significant safety, compliance, financial, ethical, or operational concerns to the Executive Director. Support a welcoming, respectful, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and inclusive environment. Required Skills and Abilities The successful candidate should demonstrate: Excellent organizational and project-management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly when priorities or circumstances change. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Basic understanding of budgets, purchasing, and financial accountability. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, electronic documentation, and other commonly used business technology. Ability and willingness to learn new software and project-management systems. Preferred Experience Preference may be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas: Recovery Community Centers or recovery support services. Substance use disorder or behavioral health services. Nonprofit organizations. Community outreach and engagement. Project or program management. Event planning. Grant-funded programs and grant reporting. Volunteer coordination. Community partnerships or coalition work. Workforce development, prevention, public health, or community development. Lived experience with recovery is valued but is not required. Education and Experience A combination of education, training, professional experience, volunteer leadership, and lived experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position will be considered. A bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, project management, behavioral health, public health, social services, or a related field is preferred but not required . Pay:
$30,000.00- $34,000.
