Job Description
Project Manager Assistant Maxwell Building Services | Metro Detroit, MI Maxwell Building Services is looking for a motivated and dependable Project Manager Assistant to join our growing interior remodeling team. This position is ideal for a college student or young professional pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, or a related field who wants real hands-on experience in the remodeling industry. This role is a combination of both office and field work and is designed for someone who enjoys staying busy, solving problems, and helping "connect the dots" between the office, showroom, vendors, and job sites. Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day operations Deliver and pick up materials from job sites, suppliers, and showroom Help maintain organization and cleanliness of the showroom, warehouse, and company vehicles Coordinate small tasks between office staff, subcontractors, and field crews Assist with scheduling, material tracking, and project logistics Perform job site walk-throughs and help document progress Help ensure projects stay organized and moving efficiently Run miscellaneous errands related to active remodeling projects Support our white glove remodeling process and maintain professionalism on-site Requirements Must be dependable, organized, and self-motivated Strong communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in both office and construction environments Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Basic knowledge of construction tools and remodeling is a plus Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Currently studying Construction Management or a related field is preferred, but not required What You'll Gain Real-world experience in high-end residential remodeling Direct mentorship from experienced project managers Exposure to kitchen, bathroom, basement, and whole-home renovation projects Opportunity for long-term growth within the company A hands-on learning environment that goes beyond the classroom This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in construction and gain valuable field and management experience while working with a professional remodeling company serving Metro Detroit.
Pay:
