Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead complex, strategic projects within JR Automation. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline objectives while upholding Hitachi's high standards of quality and innovation. Impact:
Lead and manage all phases of complex projects from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and executive leadership. Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed work breakdown structures, resource allocation, risk management strategies, and communication plans. Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints. Oversee project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and escalating as necessary. Communicate project status, progress, and challenges regularly to stakeholders, including executive leadership, clients, and team members. Ensure adherence to JR"s project management methodologies, quality standards, and compliance requirements. Negotiate with vendors and manage external relationships as required for project success. Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices

What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 10+ years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead project management role. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget. Strong understanding and practical experience with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum). PMP or equivalent certification is highly preferred. Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and collaboration tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is highly desirable. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operate effectively in ambiguous situations.
