Electrical construction contractor focusing on commercial projects Responsibilities + Provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to Project Managers and project teams throughout the project lifecycle. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files, documentation, logs, and correspondence in an organized and accessible manner. + Track project deliverables, deadlines, and key milestones to help ensure projects remain on schedule. + Assist with processing purchase orders, invoices, change orders, and other project-related paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion. + Coordinate internal and external meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and maintaining meeting notes and action items. + Communicate regularly with customers, vendors, and internal teams to provide project updates and clarify requirements. + Support material procurement activities and monitor delivery status to ensure timely availability of project materials. + Assist with project reporting and data entry, ensuring information is complete, accurate, and properly formatted. + Help prepare closeout documentation and project turnover packages to support successful project completion and handoff. + Perform other project support duties as assigned to contribute to the smooth execution of projects. Essential Skills + Minimum of 2+ years of experience in project coordination, administrative coordination, operations support, or office management. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation, schedules, records, and project-related information effectively. + Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. + Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders. + Demonstrated experience supporting project-based work or coordinating activities across teams. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison Heights, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
