The company specializes in custom home construction, home additions, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, whole-home renovations, basement and lower-level finishing, and outdoor living projects. Gary Brown Homes works closely with homeowners, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate projects from the planning and design stages through completion. Position Overview Gary Brown Homes is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the successful planning and execution of residential construction and remodeling projects. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members to help keep projects organized, on schedule, within budget, and consistent with the company#39;s quality standards. Key Responsibilities Assist with coordinating residential construction, remodeling, renovation, and custom home projects. Support the Project Manager with project schedules, timelines, budgets, and documentation. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and trades to ensure work is completed according to project requirements. Monitor project progress and communicate updates, scheduling changes, and potential issues to the Project Manager. Assist with ordering and tracking materials, equipment, fixtures, and other project requirements. Maintain accurate project records, invoices, purchase orders, change orders, and other documentation. Communicate professionally with homeowners and assist with addressing project questions and concerns. Help conduct site visits and monitor completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications. Assist in identifying delays, material shortages, scheduling conflicts, and other issues that could affect project completion. Support the Project Manager in coordinating multiple trades and ensuring work progresses efficiently from one phase to the next. Assist with project closeout, final inspections, punch-list items, and customer follow-up. Qualifications Experience in construction, remodeling, project coordination, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced residential construction environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common project-management or scheduling tools. Ability to work effectively with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and construction professionals. Knowledge of residential construction processes, materials, and terminology is a plus.
