$75,000 - $120,000 per year Job Details - Our company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Project Manager specializing in Structural Steel within the Manufacturing industry. This is an incredible opportunity for a seasoned professional who is looking to advance their career in project management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of our structural steel projects from inception to completion. The role demands a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of structural steel projects from the initial stages to completion. 2. Conduct detailed cost analysis and budgeting to ensure the financial feasibility of projects. 3. Develop comprehensive project schedules and timelines and ensure strict adherence to them. 4. Carry out risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop contingency plans. 5. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors. 6. Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation. 7. Ensure that all projects are compliant with industry standards and regulations. 8. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plans. 9. Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project to track project progress and report on project status. 10. Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the manufacturing industry, specifically with structural steel. 3. Proven experience in cost analysis, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, risk assessment, negotiation, subcontracting, and blueprint reading. 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project. 5. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. 6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. 7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure. 8. In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations relating to structural steel. 9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines. 10. Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is preferred.
