Join our Energy and Power business unit as a Project Manager, where we leverage our solutions across various markets to foster a more connected and sustainable world, both environmentally and socially. Role Summary By joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to deploy your project management skills to develop innovative solutions that solve our clients' challenging energy needs. In this role you will collaborate across engineering disciplines to support a diverse international multi-sector client group. You will manage internal Jacobs teams as well as external subconsultants and contractors. The specific projects you will be assigned may include power generation, thermal generation, microgrids, energy storage, hydrogen production, geothermal power, carbon capture, electric substations and many other energy systems and technologies. This position provides the opportunity to engage with our clients, develop holistic concept-level plans and solutions, then take these through detailed design to provide for full execution of the solution. We offer and deliver a true "end to end" life-cycle service from needs assessment and planning to startup and commissioning. Demonstrated abilities include a broad understanding of the engineering and construction industry as well as the energy market. Prior experience in consulting, design management and project management will be highly regarded, as will experience in Owner's Engineer roles or contract management, and advisory (technical advisor/due diligence) roles as well as strategic project development experience. Your primary responsibilities will focus upon providing advisory and design solutions for energy project development and technical delivery. You will collaborate with our technical leadership, client account managers and sales professionals on pursuits of strategic importance to the firm. You'll be expected to possess highly collaborative and sophisticated communication and problem-solving skills. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated the ability to anticipate challenges and manage "up and out" while supporting large teams responsible for the daily details of project delivery.
