Job Description

Job Overview Residential & Commercial Construction We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Project Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in residential and commercial construction, with particular expertise in building codes, permitting, and construction drawings. The Project Manager will assist with overseeing projects, reviewing plans and drawings, coordinating permitting requirements, and working with local townships and building departments to help keep projects moving efficiently. Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • College degree or high school diploma plus at least 10 years of experience in residential and commercial construction
  • Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and construction drawings
  • Knowledge of local building codes and code requirements
  • Experience with building permits and township permitting procedures
  • Ability to communicate with township officials, inspectors, engineers, architects, contractors, and clients
  • Assist with permit applications, submissions, revisions, and approvals
  • Help coordinate projects from planning through construction
  • Identify potential permitting or code issues before they delay a project
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects This is a flexible, part-time position, approximately a couple of days per week, Monday through Friday.
The specific days and hours may vary depending on project priorities, township permitting requirements, inspections, and job schedules. We are looking for someone who understands construction in the real world and can help navigate the permitting and code process while keeping projects organized and moving forward. Construction, project management, and permitting experience are required. $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 25.0 per week
