Part-time; weekday afternoons/evenings, weekends, school breaks, and summer availability Centercourt Marlboro is looking for an energetic, dependable, and engaging Ninja Coach to join our team. This coach will lead children through fun, safe, and age-appropriate ninja programming while helping them build confidence, coordination, strength, and perseverance. In addition to coaching regularly scheduled classes, this position will support our Ninja birthday parties and camps throughout the year. The right candidate enjoys working with children, brings positive energy to every session, and can create an environment that is both exciting and well organized. Responsibilities Lead Ninja classes for children of varying ages and skill levels Teach obstacle-course skills, movement fundamentals, strength, balance, and coordination Explain and demonstrate activities clearly and safely Encourage participants and create a positive, inclusive experience Supervise children and maintain an active, well-managed environment Help run Ninja birthday parties, including activities, guest engagement, and transitions Coach seasonal and school-break camps throughout the year Set up, inspect, and put away equipment before and after programs Follow all safety procedures and respond appropriately to participant needs Communicate professionally with parents, participants, and fellow team members Assist with additional facility or program needs as assigned Qualifications Enthusiastic about working with children Positive, patient, dependable, and energetic Comfortable leading groups and speaking in front of children and parents Able to keep participants engaged while maintaining clear boundaries and expectations Willing to learn our Ninja curriculum, equipment, and safety procedures Available for some weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends Available to work select school-break and summer camps Prior experience in coaching, teaching, childcare, recreation, gymnastics, parkour, fitness, or youth sports is preferred but not required CPR and First Aid certification is a plus, or willingness to become certified Must meet all applicable employment and background-check requirements Physical Requirements Able to remain active throughout classes, parties, and camps Able to demonstrate or assist with basic movements and obstacles Able to lift, move, and set up program equipment as needed What We're Looking For Our strongest coaches are enthusiastic role models who know how to make activities fun while keeping safety at the center of the experience.
