What You'll Do As a Systems Project Manager, you'll oversee projects from concept through completion, ensuring successful implementation while exceeding customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation Define project scope and objectives with customers, sales, engineering, and executive leadership Manage implementation of warehouse automation and integrated material handling systems Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies Maintain clear communication with internal teams, vendors, and customers Manage project documentation, reporting, and closeout activities Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget Serve as a trusted advisor to customers throughout implementation Support continuous improvement and help drive adoption of project management best practices across the organization Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline 5+ years of project management experience in automation, material handling, warehouse systems, robotics, AMRs/AGVs, conveyor systems, or related industrial environments Experience managing technical design and system implementation projects Ability to interpret architectural drawings, CAD layouts, and system designs Strong understanding of warehouse automation and material handling technologies Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications PMP certification is a plus Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for business travel Approximately 50% travel: 25% local/regional 25% national Preferred Experience Warehouse automation systems Conveyor systems Robotics Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) Distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain operations
