Job Description Manage civil construction projects from pre-construction through final completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Coordinate field operations with Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and engineering teams. Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders. Monitor project costs and prepare accurate forecasting and reporting. Lead project meetings with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services as required. Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain schedule and budget objectives. Support business development efforts through client relationship management and repeat business opportunities. The Successful Applicant A successful Civil Project Manager should have: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of project management experience within civil construction. Strong background in site development, earthwork, utilities, roadwork, heavy highway, or infrastructure projects. Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders. Strong understanding of construction contracts, plans, specifications, and project controls. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
