Job Description

Position Purpose:
The Project Coordinator plays an essential role, managing workflows for upwards of 35 professionals on the Creative Services and Industrial Design teams for both product packaging and e-commerce efforts. A keen sense of organization, ability to multitask, and exceptional attention to detail is essen
  • tial for this position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review project requests for packaging, product design, and e-commerce efforts to ensure they are accurate and complete, and assign projects to department staff (designers, copywriters, proofreaders, and freelancers) through web-based project management system.
  • Work closely with Category Managers in processing project requests, especially in managing volume and timeline expectations.
  • Track upwards of 100 projects per week to ensure they are moving on schedule.
  • Help schedule and coordinate details for photo shoots
  • Prepare and run reports using Excel, Numbers, and/or Google Sheets as requested.
  • Liaise with overseas vendors and outside offices.
  • Work with licensed brands to obtain approval on assets with the licensor's marketing, legal, and safety departments.
  • Upload and track finalized packaging files to overseas vendors via FTP server.
  • Administrate companywide project management and digital assets management systems, plus train and support all staff in these systems.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years production and/or project management experience preferred but will train the right candidate
  • Detail-oriented with keen organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills necessary; Mac skills preferred
  • Prior experience with project management software is a plus
  • Mastery of Excel, Numbers, and/or Google Sheets
  • Solutions-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
Education:
College degree in management, marketing, or liberal arts preferred.
