A Project Manager manages work on projects with a defined scope, start and completion point. Leads project teams, manages project budgets and schedules; manages contractors and communications with stakeholders. May manage projects in construction, information technology or in other industries.
Starting at $68,000/year About the Role We're looking for a Roofing Project Manager who knows that a great roofing project is about more than shingles, flashing, and a hard hat—it's about getting the job done right, keeping customers happy, and making the whole process look easy. You'll be the person who keeps projects moving from kickoff to final walkthrough, coordinating crews, materials, schedules, subcontractors, customers, and the occasional curveball that comes flying out of nowhere. If you're organized, solutions-oriented, comfortable on a roof and in a customer meeting, and you can keep ten things moving without losing track of number eleven, we want to hear from you. Manage roofing projects from initial handoff through completion and closeout. Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, and production timelines. Coordinate crews, subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, permits, and deliveries. Communicate proactively with homeowners, property managers, general contractors, and internal teams. Identify potential issues before they become expensive surprises—and develop practical solutions when they do. Review scopes of work, measurements, materials, change orders, and project documentation. Ensure projects are completed according to company standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes. Keep customers informed throughout the project so they always know what's happening next. Conduct final inspections and make sure punch-list items are completed promptly. Track project costs, labor, materials, and overall profitability. Maintain accurate project records and provide regular updates to leadership. Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, craftsmanship, and professionalism.
Required:
3+ years of roofing, construction, or related project-management experience. Strong knowledge of roofing systems, installation practices, and construction processes. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to read scopes, plans, estimates, and project documentation. Strong communication skills—you can talk to a crew, a customer, and a company executive without changing personalities. Comfortable using smartphones, email, scheduling software, spreadsheets, and project-management tools. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work outdoors and safely access job sites, including ladders and roofs as required. You'll really stand out if you have: Experience managing residential and/or commercial roofing projects. Knowledge of OSHA requirements and local building codes. Experience managing subcontractors and production crews. A sharp eye for workmanship and the confidence to speak up when something isn't right. A calm, "we'll figure it out" attitude when the inevitable project curveball arrives. What Success Looks Like After your first year, we want customers saying, "They kept us informed, showed up when they said they would, and did exactly what they promised." We want crews saying, "The PM has their act together." And we want leadership saying, "Our projects are on time, profitable, safe, and done right." Why Join Us? Competitive compensation with opportunities for performance-based incentives. A professional team that takes pride in its work. The opportunity to make a real impact on project outcomes and customer experience. Variety—because no two roofs, customers, or project challenges are exactly alike. A company culture that values accountability without taking itself too seriously. The Bottom Line We're looking for a project manager who can run a roofing project—not someone who just watches one. If you take pride in building things correctly, enjoy solving problems, communicate like a pro, and know the difference between a small hiccup and a five-alarm roofing fire, apply today.
