Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Supervisor / Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will support the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects by assisting with project coordination, schedule management, and team oversight. You will work closely with senior project managers and field teams to ensure projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and safety standards. Your enthusiasm for construction management and strong organizational skills will drive project excellence from planning through completion. Duties Assist in developing and maintaining detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6, Procore, or similar project management software. Coordinate daily activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and project specifications. Support project managers in managing budgets, tracking costs, and controlling expenses with HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to facilitate accurate execution of work. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Monitor project progress through site visits, inspections, and documentation; report any delays or issues promptly. Assist in managing contracts, change orders, and compliance documentation in Prolog or other construction regulatory systems. Contribute to project meetings by preparing reports, updating schedules, and documenting action items. Support the management of construction regulatory compliance and safety protocols on-site. Use Microsoft Office tools for reporting, correspondence, and data analysis related to project activities. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site supervision or assistant project management roles within commercial or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of construction scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and cost management practices. Experience with heavy civil or infrastructure projects involving complex coordination efforts. Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, and stakeholders at all levels. Construction site experience demonstrating understanding of field operations and safety protocols is essential. $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
