In this role, the BMS Project Manager oversees and coordinates multiple building automation installation projects within a dynamic construction environment while managing project contracts, accounting, and resource allocation. This role acts as a critical liaison, developing strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. The position requires a process-oriented leader who can adapt to short deadlines, handle up to 25% travel, and maintain a solid familiarity with BAS, BMS, DDC, and energy management systems. Experience with controls, BMS, BAS, DDC, Building Automation, Building Management, EPMS and Energy Management Systems is preferred. \#CSG

  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • + Coordinate and manage multiple automation installation projects while remaining organized.

+ Maintain project accounting and contracts.

+ Develop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with members of the company, clients, subcontractors and other contacts.

+ Anticipate and be able to meet short and/or unpredictable deadlines.

+ Understand and conform to company policies and procedures.

+ Recognize and utilize the company's resources effectively and efficiently.

+ Plan, organize and carry out assigned job responsibilities within established time parameters.

+ Continuously seek to improve knowledge of required job skills and stay abreast of industry changes.

+ Assume additional responsibilities as needed and approved by management.

+ Travel Required up to 25%

  • Qualifications
  • + Bachelor's degree in EE, ME, CE, Math or Physics + Minimum of 5-years project management experience in HVAC control and automation or equivalent industry experience in the NYC Metro area.

+ Extensive computer and automation experience.

+ Thorough understanding of the construction process.

+ Demonstrated track record of completing projects on schedule and within budget.

+ Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.

+ Competent working with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

+ Knowledge of electrical wiring and schematics.

+ Able to write, edit and understand sequences of operations.

+ Able to read and understand project drawings and specifications.

+ Have excellent oral/written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with consulting engineers regarding design, implementation and commissioning.

+ A knowledge of Automated Logic controls preferred.
