Job Description
New River Electrical Corporation, a leader in electrical contracting for utility and industrial markets, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee complex projects from conception to completion. As a Project Manager in our dynamic environment, you will be responsible for managing all phases of project planning and execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline. Our ideal candidate will have profound industry knowledge, exceptional leadership qualities, and a track record of managing substantial electrical construction projects. Responsibilities Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals, setting realistic timelines and budgets. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; track project milestones and deliverables. Direct and manage project development from beginning to end, delegating tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, adjusting schedules as necessary. Monitor project milestones and deliverables, conducting project post-mortems and creating a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. Required Skills Proven ability to manage large-scale industrial projects Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Basecamp, or equivalent Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
