Junior Project Manager Location:
Marietta, OH Duration:
Full time, Direct Hire We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support high-volume configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship programs within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for tracking orders from receipt through shipment while coordinating with production, supply chain, engineering, quality, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate project execution. Key Responsibilities Manage CTO and quick-ship orders from order entry through shipment and closeout Review sales orders for accuracy, completeness, and configuration details Track project milestones including material availability, production status, testing, and shipment Maintain accurate order and project data within ERP and project management systems Coordinate daily with production, supply chain, quality, and shipping teams Provide timely customer order updates and communicate schedule changes proactively Monitor at-risk orders and escalate issues before delivery impacts occur Support logistics coordination, shipping documentation, and customer-specific requirements Generate internal and customer-facing status reports Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to order tracking and scheduling processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, order management, customer service, inside sales support, or operations within a manufacturing environment Strong organizational and multitasking skills Experience using ERP systems and project tracking tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with shifting priorities Strong follow-through and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in electrical, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing environments Familiarity with configure-to-order or make-to-order manufacturing processes Exposure to power distribution products or industrial equipment Experience coordinating shipments and logistics for manufactured products CAPM certification or interest in pursuing project management certification What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Career growth and development opportunities Support for professional certifications and advancement Collaborative and fast-paced team environment This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in project management within a manufacturing and operations environment.
