Full time, Direct Hire We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead custom power distribution equipment projects from initial sales opportunity through final shipment and project closeout. This role is responsible for driving cross-functional coordination, customer communication, scheduling, and execution for engineered-to-order electrical equipment projects. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from requirements capture through engineering, procurement, production, testing, shipment, and closeout Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle Coordinate with sales, application engineering, design engineering, supply chain, production, quality, and logistics teams Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and monitor critical milestones Establish realistic delivery timelines based on material availability and production capacity Lead project kickoff meetings and maintain action item tracking Manage customer change requests, engineering changes, and schedule impacts Coordinate factory acceptance tests (FATs), documentation packages, and shipment readiness Identify project risks early and drive proactive resolution Maintain accurate project reporting, schedule tracking, and on-time delivery metrics Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field preferred 5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing, electrical equipment, or electromechanical environment Experience managing engineered-to-order or custom manufacturing projects Strong understanding of project scheduling, order management, and long-lead material coordination Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications Experience collaborating with engineering, supply chain, production, and quality teams Proficiency with ERP systems and project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet Excellent communication, organizational, and customer management skills Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Experience with power distribution equipment such as switchgear, PDCs, RPPs, STS, or UPS systems PMP certification or active pursuit of certification Familiarity with UL, NEC, ANSI, or related electrical industry standards Experience coordinating FATs and customer witness testing Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Career growth opportunities within a growing manufacturing organization Collaborative and fast-paced work environment
