$85,000 - $110,000 (based upon level of experience, education, and professional certifications)
Summary:
The long-term goal of this position is to further develop and grow Partners' remediation practice area. Top candidates will have current client relationships, with the ability to maintain existing relationships as well as grow new connections through business development efforts. A Senior Project Manager is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget and in accordance with an approved scope of work. Based on the experience level of the Senior Project Manager, assessment and remediation projects will range from moderate to significant complexity. The position will be responsible for assisting with business development and facilitating large-scale remediation work, such as facility decommissioning and closure activities. This person will generally prepare all proposals and run multi-faceted projects, where the Senior Project Manager supervises others who complete support tasks. Personnel management is also a high priority and required skill. Senior Project Managers will ensure efficient use of internal resources and manage sub-contractors. Senior Project Managers will be responsible for delivering the quality that clients expect while managing work scope and budgets.
Essential Duties:
Senior Project Manager will have a high level of competency and independence should be demonstrated; Manage projects demonstrating a complete understanding of project goals; schedule, scope, budget and quality; Manage and develop sub-contractor relationships; Develop and maintain client relationships; establish new relationships; Review reports ensuring compliance with applicable standards and client expectations, or identify resources to do such; Periodic travel to job sites should be anticipated; Find solutions to project complications that result in maintaining deliverable due dates, budgets, and client expectations with an increasing level of skill and independence; and Meet or exceed established Senior Project Manager invoicing goal annually. Education and/or Experience 8+ Years of environmental professional and project management experience; Expertise in technical writing; High level of experience supervising staff, sub-contractors, and coordinating project work; Ability to work directly with clients effectively; Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science or related field (Advanced Degree is typical); 40 Hours
OSHA HAZWOPER
certificate required; Additional licenses a plus (asbestos, lead-based paint, radon, etc.); and Professional Certification(s) preferred (PG, CPG, CP, PE, CIH, CSP, CHMM, etc.).
