Job Description

Senior Project Manager Heavy Civil Infrastructure Construction Are you an accomplished heavy civil construction leader with experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects? We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee complex public works projects, lead high-performing teams, and drive successful project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. Due to continued growth and multiple recently awarded contracts, this is an opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong backlog of water, wastewater, underground utility, and civil infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Lead multiple heavy civil construction projects simultaneously. Manage budgets, schedules, procurement, forecasting, and project profitability. Oversee projects from preconstruction through final closeout. Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, municipalities, and stakeholders. Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams to ensure project success. Review estimates and support project pursuits and bidding activities. Manage contracts, change orders, and project documentation. Monitor project financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed. Identify and mitigate project risks. Mentor and develop Project Managers, Project Engineers, and project staff. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements. Drive successful project outcomes while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive heavy civil construction experience. Proven success managing projects valued from $20M to $150M+ .
Experience with:
Underground wet utilities (water, sewer, and storm drain) Water and wastewater treatment facilities Large-diameter pipeline installation Municipal, state, or federal infrastructure projects Tunneling or trenchless construction experience is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of:
Public bidding and procurement Contract administration Change order management Cost forecasting and earned value reporting CPM scheduling (Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project) Self-perform construction operations Demonstrated leadership experience managing Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field teams. Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Preferred Certifications Professional Engineer (PE) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Construction Manager (CCM) OSHA 30 CPR/First Aid Why Join Us?
