Job Description Key Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with all phases of construction project execution. Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement activities. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders. Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Monitor project costs, track budgets, and assist with financial reporting. Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Participate in project meetings and maintain meeting minutes and action items. Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and final documentation. Collaborate with field teams to ensure project milestones are achieved. Help identify and resolve project challenges before they impact schedule or budget. Ensure compliance with safety standards, client requirements, and company procedures. The Successful Applicant A successful Building and Construction Assistant Project Manager should have: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred. 1-4 years of experience in construction project management, project engineering, or a related role. Understanding of construction processes, project scheduling, and cost control. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or other construction management software is preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Knowledge of contract administration and construction documentation is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Key Traits Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
