Job Description

Summary:
Familiar with a variety of construction and precast fabrication concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on experience and judgment with the assistance as needed from Sr. Project Managers, Manager of Project Management, as well as the V.P. of Operations to plan and accomplish goals. Works closely with construction management, engineers, precast fabrication operations, purchasing, logistics manager, estimators, and sales department for budget and project plan development prior to bid and after receipt of award. Help to ensure the project budget and project plans follows company policy and meets all contractual obligations.
Responsibilities:
Lead voice for all coordination between both internal resources and third parties/vendors for the efficient execution of projects Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget Develop and communicate the project scope, its deliverables, and set expectations for all relevant stakeholders Negotiate all contracts including scope, pricing, and terms/conditions with the assistance and oversight of the Manager of Project Management Manage and complete all necessary submission of documents which require approval from external stakeholders with assistance from the Manager of Project Management and Sr. Project Managers as needed. Provide a detailed Project/Financial plan to monitor and track progress Visit jobsite, as needed, to communicate an effective plan project and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders. Supports Construction management team with the workflow carried in project plan for all construction related items in awarded projects. Help plans sequence of construction, assembly, installation, and other operations for guidance of construction management team and their field workers. Analyzes and helps develop lists of required materials, tools, and equipment carried in project budgets relative to precast fabrication and field construction. Manage and measure changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs Manage all project revenue including timely collection of AR with the assistance of the Manager of Project Management. Manage and submit all necessary close-out documentation, including warranties, final invoices, and final payment with the assistance of the Manager of Project Management Report on project financial performance and expected final cost projections monthly to management. Manage relationships with the client and all stakeholders. Create and maintain comprehensive and organized project documentation Helps ensure project plans adhere to company safety policies, project safety requirements, governmental safety regulations, or any other related and applicable safety standards, policies, or regulations. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or Three years of precast construction experience. Experience in precast concrete fabrication and construction. The ability to produce and track budgets and understand the financial aspects of a project. The ability to work together with Clients, internal personnel, and other Contract representatives as part of a group. The ability to accurately communicate ideas, instructions, questions, problems, or solutions. The ability to accurately receive questions, ideas, problems and provide guidance for instructions or solutions. Solid understanding of safety policies and regulations relating to construction and the effects and seriousness of accidents and need to mitigate hazards. Ability to prioritize workload and to handle multiple tasks at one time. Strong problem solving and negotiation abilities. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation construction methods, and coordination of people and resources. Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial data. Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office package
