Job Description
Arko Flooring is seeking a Flooring Project Site Coordinator for our Commercial Division. This role works closely with Arko Project Managers, installers, and General Contractor site supervisors to ensure projects stay on schedule and are installed according to contract scope and quality standards. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on multiple projects at once, can handle unexpected jobsite challenges, and is capable of making sound field decisions when necessary. Experience in commercial flooring installations is required. Site coordination or flooring project management experience is beneficial, but not required for the right candidate. This position is well-suited for an experienced installer looking to transition out of full-time installation while staying active in the field. Responsibilities Oversee and support project schedules in the field Attend required project meetings with General Contractors Coordinate and verify material deliveries to ensure they support the project schedule Serve as Arko's on-site representative with GCs and supervisors Oversee subcontractor crews on site, including: Verifying quantity of work completed Inspecting quality and adherence to scope Ensuring manpower levels are sufficient to maintain schedule Holding or supporting site safety meetings Identify and communicate jobsite issues that could impact schedule or installation Travel consistently and frequently to assigned project sites Requirements Hands-on commercial flooring installation experience (must have) Strong understanding of jobsite workflow and commercial construction environments Ability to manage multiple active projects Good communication skills with field crews and project management Reliable, honest, and trustworthy Ability to make practical, timely decisions in the field This is a field-focused position that plays a key role in keeping commercial flooring projects organized, on schedule, and installed correctly.
