Shippingport Power Station is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multi‑million‑dollar capital, engineering, and operational projects to redevelop industrial assets. This visible leadership role owns the full project lifecycle delivery—from scope definition through commissioning—while ensuring safety, quality, cost control, and stakeholder alignment. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership — Direct cross‑functional teams (engineering, operations, procurement, safety, contractors) to deliver projects on time and within budget. Industrial Planning — Develop detailed project plans, schedules, risk registers, and resource forecasts for industrial environments. Budget Oversight — Manage budgets typically ranging from $5M-$50M+, including cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis. Vendor Management — Oversee contractors, OEMs, and service providers; negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with industrial standards. Safety & Compliance — Enforce OSHA, EPA, and industry‑specific regulations; drive a culture of zero‑incident performance. Technical Coordination — Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment installation, process upgrades, automation, and commissioning. Stakeholder Communication — Provide executive‑level reporting, status updates, and risk mitigation plans. Continuous Improvement — Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce downtime, and enhance operational efficiency. Required Qualifications Industrial Experience — 10+ years managing projects in manufacturing, energy, chemicals, heavy equipment, or similar industrial settings. Project Management Certification — PMP, CAPM, or equivalent. Technical Background — Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, or related field. Risk Management — Demonstrated ability to identify, quantify, and mitigate project risks. Software Proficiency — Expertise with MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling tools. Leadership Skills — Proven ability to lead diverse teams in high‑stakes industrial environments. Preferred Qualifications Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).
