Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager specializing in Roofing to lead and coordinate roofing projects from inception to completion. Duties Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation for roofing projects. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to roofing systems and construction details. Manage procurement of materials such as metal studs, framing components, roofing materials, and tools including power tools and hand tools. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues like heavy lifting hazards or structural concerns, and implement corrective actions. Prepare detailed reports on project status, costs, safety compliance, and timelines for stakeholders. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices in roofing and general construction. Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques specific to roofing projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to roofing systems. Hands-on experience with construction site activities including framing (metal stud framing), masonry, stucco application, tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, restoration work, plumbing integration, welding, concrete forming, fabrication, drywall installation (including drywall finishing), heavy lifting techniques, and handyman tasks. Familiarity with various power tools such as drills, saws (including masonry saws), grinders; hand tools; scaffolding; and safety equipment. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Ability to coordinate subcontractors skilled in carpentry (frame carpentry), masonry (masonry), roofing (roofing), plumbing (plumbing), welding (welding), tile work (tile laying), restoration (restoration), and other trades involved in roofing projects. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members. Knowledge of schematics related to building systems; ability to interpret technical documents accurately. Prior experience in construction estimating specific to roofing materials and labor costs. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage procurement processes for materials like caulking compounds or metal studs efficiently.
