What You'll Do You'll support critical project controls functions that drive project success: Project Controls & Reporting + Assist in cost tracking, forecasting, and change management + Support progress measurement and performance reporting + Maintain accurate project data in enterprise systems Scheduling & Planning + Help develop and update project schedules + Apply logic and dependencies to ensure realistic timelines + Support resource planning (labor, equipment, materials) Financial & Data Management + Assist with cost reports, forecasting, and cash flow projections + Track purchase orders, contracts, and change orders + Contribute to earned value management and performance tracking Analysis & Field Support + Verify project progress and reporting accuracy + Participate in field audits and quality checks + Help build visual reporting tools like dashboards and progress curves

What You Bring Required:

+ Familiarity with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools + Exposure to project controls, cost management, or scheduling + Interest in Power BI or data visualization tools + Experience with utility or energy-related projects Work Environment + Primarily office-based with occasional field visits + Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and systems + Fast-paced consulting environment supporting multiple projects + Strong emphasis on safety, quality, and professional excellence Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
