What You'll Do You'll support critical project controls functions that drive project success: Project Controls & Reporting + Assist in cost tracking, forecasting, and change management + Support progress measurement and performance reporting + Maintain accurate project data in enterprise systems Scheduling & Planning + Help develop and update project schedules + Apply logic and dependencies to ensure realistic timelines + Support resource planning (labor, equipment, materials) Financial & Data Management + Assist with cost reports, forecasting, and cash flow projections + Track purchase orders, contracts, and change orders + Contribute to earned value management and performance tracking Analysis & Field Support + Verify project progress and reporting accuracy + Participate in field audits and quality checks + Help build visual reporting tools like dashboards and progress curves
What You Bring Required:
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field + Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills + Analytical mindset with high attention to detail + Clear communication and teamwork skills + Willingness to visit project sites and learn hands-on Nice toHave:
+ Familiarity with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools + Exposure to project controls, cost management, or scheduling + Interest in Power BI or data visualization tools + Experience with utility or energy-related projects Work Environment + Primarily office-based with occasional field visits + Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and systems + Fast-paced consulting environment supporting multiple projects + Strong emphasis on safety, quality, and professional excellence Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
