Job Description
Assistant Project Manager / Assistant Superintendent Build Your Career While Managing Projects from the Field to the Office This is a great opportunity to join a growing team with significant advancement potential into Project Management or Superintendent leadership roles. Responsibilities Support the management of commercial renovation and tenant fit-out projects from preconstruction through closeout. Coordinate daily field activities, subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics. Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved. Monitor project progress and communicate updates to Project Managers, Superintendents, clients, and stakeholders. Conduct site walks and inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with plans and specifications. Help manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists, and project documentation. Enforce OSHA and company safety standards on job sites. Track material deliveries, site progress, and subcontractor performance. Identify and help resolve field issues, schedule impacts, and coordination challenges. Maintain daily reports and project records. Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and project closeout activities. Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction, construction management, or field supervision. Experience with renovation, tenant fit-out, interior construction, or commercial projects. Understanding of construction scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and construction best practices. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software is a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
