As a Healthcare Project Architect, you'll bring your technical expertise and healthcare experience to projects through multiple phases of design and construction. You'll collaborate with project leaders and multidisciplinary teams to develop thoughtful, compliant, and high-quality design solutions while taking an active role in successful project delivery. Among other things, here's what you'll be doing: Support healthcare projects through multiple phases of design and construction, applying technical and design expertise while coordinating with project leaders to ensure quality, accuracy, and successful project delivery. Apply healthcare planning principles, building codes, and regulatory requirements to project documentation and design solutions. Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to support alignment across disciplines and resolve technical and design challenges. Utilize Revit and related BIM tools to develop coordinated models, drawings, and construction documents. Conduct zoning, code, and healthcare regulatory research, incorporating requirements into project documentation and design strategies. Participate in construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and helping resolve technical issues during construction. Assist with the preparation of project manuals, technical specifications, permitting documentation, and responses to regulatory agencies. Monitor project scope, schedule, and deliverables in coordination with project managers, proactively communicating needs and potential challenges. Take ownership of smaller projects as appropriate, coordinating project activities, consultants, deliverables, and client communication with support from project leadership. Participate in business development efforts, including supporting proposals, presentations, and interviews as needed. Ideal qualifications we seek in a candidate: Bachelor's degree in Architecture. 5+ years of professional architectural experience. Licensed Architect. Experience working on healthcare projects. Strong proficiency in Revit across multiple design phases, including SD, DD, CDs, and CA. Knowledge of healthcare building codes, regulatory requirements, and building systems. Experience coordinating consultants and producing construction documentation. Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. LEED Accreditation, WELL Certification, and/or EDAC certification are a plus.
