Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Cost Analyst to support large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing construction and expansion projects. This individual will work closely with Project Managers, Cost Leads, and Project Controls teams to help track project budgets, analyze costs, maintain forecasts, and support financial reporting throughout the lifecycle of multimillion-dollar capital projects. Based on prior pharmaceutical project controls requisitions shared by Natalie Thom, the role focuses on cost management, forecasting, reporting, invoice review, and project financial controls within complex manufacturing environments. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Develop and maintain project cost reports comparing actual costs, forecasts, and budgets Analyze project expenditures and identify cost risks, issues, and mitigation strategies Assist with weekly, biweekly, and monthly forecasting and accrual reporting Support earned value analysis and project performance tracking Review and process contractor and vendor invoices Assist with change order tracking and budget updates Support project managers with financial reporting and cost visibility Contribute to project estimates, contract support activities, and value engineering initiatives Help improve cost management procedures and reporting standards across projects Must-Haves Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 2-5 years of experience in project controls, cost analysis, project accounting, construction finance, or a related discipline Advanced Excel skills Experience working with budgets, forecasting, cost reporting, or financial analysis Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Pharmaceutical, life sciences, biotechnology, industrial manufacturing, or capital project experience Experience using SAP or other project cost management systems Exposure to project controls, earned value, forecasting, and cost reporting processes
Pay:
$110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
