Role Description The Project Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in Shelby Township, MI, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role oversees residential restoration projects from initial storm inspection through project completion, coordinating schedules, materials, and subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality work. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project timelines, tracking progress, communicating with homeowners and insurance adjusters, and resolving onsite issues. The Project Manager will also review inspection reports, verify scope of work, support expediting of permits and materials, and maintain accurate documentation for each project. Close collaboration with field crews, office staff, and external partners is essential to deliver reliable, efficient restoration services. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and oversight of multiple concurrent projects. Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to move permits, materials, and approvals through required processes efficiently. Candidates should possess Inspection experience to review storm damage, verify quality of work, and ensure compliance with safety and building standards. Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to coordinate crews, materials, and equipment across various job sites. Experience in residential construction, roofing, or siding restoration is highly beneficial. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work directly with homeowners and insurance representatives. Proficiency with basic project management and office software; ability to maintain organized records and reports. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits in Metro Detroit and southern Michigan. Ability to work safely on or around active construction sites and collaborate effectively with field teams.
