Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time, hybrid Transmission Project Manager to support capital transmission construction projects throughout the Carolinas. The Transmission Project Manager will lead planned and emergent capital projects from initiation through completion, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with company standards and safety expectations. This role manages multiple transmission projects simultaneously and collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, planning, and construction personnel. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple transmission capital construction projects throughout the full project lifecycle Lead cross-functional project teams consisting of: Design Engineers Material Procurement Specialists Construction Management Personnel Planning Teams Construction Crews Develop and maintain accurate project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts Ensure all project milestones and deliverables are completed on time and within scope Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies when necessary Coordinate project execution activities between internal stakeholders and field personnel Provide project status updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to senior leadership and executive management Support both planned and emergent transmission infrastructure projects Ensure compliance with company safety standards and field requirements during site visits Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of project management experience High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor's Degree preferred Working knowledge of project management principles and methodologies Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments Valid driver's license Ability to travel locally to project sites using personal vehicle Work Environment & Schedule Full-time hybrid schedule In-office requirement: 3 days per week Site visits are approximately once per week No overnight travel required Mileage reimbursement provided for business travel using a personal vehicle
