  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate concrete finishing services for construction projects across various sites within central and northeast Ohio.
In this pivotal role, you will be the primary liaison between our general contractor customers and our concrete foundation and finishing crews. Your goal will be to drive project success from initiation through completion, assisting with scheduling, logistics, and operational execution of commercial concrete construction projects in a way that meets customer needs while driving efficiency and project profitability.   • blame no one, fully deliver, you get out of life what you want if you help enough people get what they want Responsibilities Act as the primary contact for our customers on specific projects, coordinating internal and customer scheduling and project execution details to bring value to both Grove Construction and our customers.
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of concrete construction services on projects to ensure timely completion within scope and budget. Assist with the development of project plans including scope, schedule, resource allocation, risk management strategies, and cost control measures. Work with Operations Manager to manage labor requirements across multiple projects to meet customer needs and efficiently utilize available internal and contract crew resources. Act as subject matter expert for helping crew foremen understand design plans, drawings, and field layouts to plan and execute projects. Utilize management tools for scheduling, tracking progress, and reporting on key performance indicators to ensure excellent communication and drive projects to meet cost and efficiency goals. Lead team management efforts by supervising project teams, fostering collaboration, resolving conflicts, and maintaining high levels of motivation. Facilitate meetings effectively using presentation skills to communicate project status updates, risks, and milestones clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements Required:
3+ years of proven experience supervising teams in a commercial construction environment.
Preferred:
5+ years of concrete foundation and/or finishing experience. Ability to read and understand construction drawings. Construction site experience providing insight into real-world project challenges and logistics. Knowledge of construction management practices, contracts, and project management processes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand problems, gather data, and work with others to find solutions to problems using data-based decision making. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on scope management, time management, risk management, and budget control to ensure project success. Exceptional communication skills capable of facilitating meetings, negotiating with vendors or stakeholders, and producing technical documentation or reports. Experience with estimating software such as STACK, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift is a plus Experience with Microsoft Office product (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
