- 28/Hour | Columbia, MO | In-Person About the Role FPIN is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate scholarly writing projects involving physicians and medical educators across the country.
- Manage scholarly manuscripts through established workflows from assignment through publication
- Track projects, deadlines, deliverables, and follow-up
- Communicate with physician authors, editors, faculty, and institutional partners and lead Zoom meetings and provide technology and process support
- Become an expert in FPIN's Editorial Management System and other cloud-based platforms
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets, reports, presentations, correspondence, and project documentation
- Collaborate with other Project Managers and staff while independently managing assigned responsibilities
- Lead and support committees, meetings, and special projects.
- Identify problems, research solutions, and escalate issues appropriately
- Work cross-functionally as organizational priorities evolve
- Occasionally travel for conferences and events, sometimes speaking publicly at conference exhibit tables or to introduce physician presenters at workshops Technology & Microsoft Office Expertise Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Familiarity alone is not sufficient. You should be highly proficient in:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and significant relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated expert-level Microsoft Office proficiency
- Experience in project coordination, publishing, higher education, healthcare, public health, nonprofit work, journalism, or a related field preferred
- Direct medical publishing experience is not required Schedule & Location This position may be structured as either:
Part-time:
24 hours/week, Tuesday-Thursday (in person only)Full-time:
40 hours/week, Monday-Friday (hybrid remote on Mondays & Fridays) We are seeking someone interested in becoming a long-term member of the FPIN team, whether part-time or full-time.Pay:
$27.00- $28.
