Responsible for the overall supervision of a right of way project(s). The Project Supervisor is responsible for providing first level supervision over professional staff engaged in office and field duties concerned with easement acquisition projects and to provide consistent project updates to the client.
Key Responsibilities:
Delegate and organize workload to ensure project completion dates and timelines are consistently met. Maintain communication with employees to ensure workload is distributed properly and completed in a timely manner. Maintain open, positive, clear, and regular communication with the client. Coordinate training for new employees or cross-training purposes. Answer questions or concerns from employees as needed. Data organization for production using spreadsheets (MS Excel) Resolve landowner question/concerns with clients and management. Develop and maintain project files, databases, and spreadsheets. Alternative contact to landowner as needed. Research title issues as needed Prepare documents including easements, contracts, and other acquisition forms, professional project correspondence, status reports, site surveys and exhibits. Develop landowner correspondence as needed. Assist with quality control processes for the delivery of the final product. Assists in other project functions where necessary including development of landowner and permitting authority geographical line lists. Obtain and review required title documentation up to 40-year (or more) title searches in accordance with the project schedules, including title commitments, plat maps, tax records and legal descriptions.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma. Undergraduate degree and/or real estate license acceptable.
Experience:
Minimum - two years right of way, title or site acquisition, paralegal activities.
Specific Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, highly organized, familiarity with title, real estate documents and legal descriptions.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
