Your impact Jacobs is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead design for design build infrastructure and construction projects across the Carolinas. This senior leader will combine hands-on project management with traditional and design build projects, focusing on expanding our footprint with municipal clients and contractor relationships in the water design build market. As a trusted advisor to our clients and a seller-doer, you'll drive pursuit strategies, leverage our technology and design experience to improve infrastructure in communities across the Carolinas and work closely with major contractors. Here's what you'll be doing Provide strategic oversight and direction for complex water market engineering and construction projects, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives. Act as Project Manager for water design projects as well as non-design projects. Develop client and contractor relationships and leverage existing ones to support business development opportunities. Lead project budget and team resources development. Represent Jacobs at industry conferences and events, positioning us as a leader in water solutions. Collaborate with sales, operations, marketing, and technical teams to align client needs with Jacobs' capabilities. Participate and execute risk management strategies, proactively identifying and mitigating contractual, schedule, regulatory, technical, and other risks. Mentor and guide multidisciplinary project teams, cultivating a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide insight regarding safety, building codes, and quality standards, in coordination for projects and implementation during project delivery. Align priorities between clients, contractors, and subcontractors for design and projects during construction as needed. Develop scheduling, budget control, and project delivery outcomes. Here's what you'll need Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field. 15+ years of progressive experience in design engineering and construction. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in North Carolina or ability to obtain within 6 months. Proven success in managing large-scale infrastructure projects and leading diverse teams including for design build projects. Strong financial acumen with experience in budget development, oversight, and forecasting. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Ideally, you'll also have PMP certification or equivalent preferred. #LI-DL1

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $134,500.00 to $176,625.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
